if there were no need for 'engineers from the quantum plenum' then we should not have any unanswered scientific questions.

I think my new job title should be 'Scamp's Social Secretary'. All I seem to do these days is organise her social diary.
My wife remembers those days well! And now she's helping with the grandchildren too. All I do is what I'm told.

Soapbpx Science is an unfamiliar activity for we Yanks.  I approve absolutely.

The nearest I see to a promotion for women in science is a TV commercial by General Electric corp. (GE). They say that they want to have 20.000 female scientists by the year 2025.  Me too. Women have fully functional brains that have been the subject of denial by male chauvinists for too long a time.  For whatever it is worth, our universities are currently graduating slightly more females in the STEM subjects than males.

Seems to me that we already have  some exemplary cognition from our lady HAFers.

Or read me, either one.

Or "read" you.  :snicker:
Do you still like to post pictures? I remember seeing one of you on your graduation, and one you posted where you had lost a lot of weight.

By the way, congratulations on finishing two years of college already!

Sometimes.
And thank you! Maybe, with some luck, I can get it up to four.

Re: Soapbox Science.

Not quite the same but an idea I approve of, is something I am listening to on BBC World Service - "A Pint of Science". It organises scientists to talk, in a relaxed way, about science in pubs. Seems it has already been exported to other countries.
Tomorrow is precious, don't ruin it by fouling up today.
