Hello everyone,

I've just joined the forum & I'd like to introduce myself. My name is John and I am a atheist living in the north east of England. I'm just a shade the wrong side of forty & married with no kids, although we do have a pretty demanding border collie to keep us on our toes :)

I'm a professional musician and I also love reading anything from trashy detective novels to classic literature, as well as non-fiction (just finished Richard Dawkins "The Greatest Show on Earth").

Well that's it from me for now & I look forward to chewing the fat with you all in the future.

Cheers,

John.

Professional musician? Sweet! What instrument/genre?

I'm a semi-professional Industrial and general Metal keyboardist myself.

Hello John,

I joined this forum only yesterday, and I am also a pro musician, a panflutist! :)

Welcome!

A nice peaceful pan flutist probably won't disturb my typing.
But can the dummers and metal keyboardists keep it down.

OK, that being the case, perhaps this will make for some mellow typing music: http://www.panflutejedi.com/Music/Firutza.mp3
