I thought this was an interesting video.  I'm still not sure it's possible for science and religion to compatibly co-exist, but I think videos like this make a strong case for why the two are not compatible without important concessions being made on either side - concessions neither side seems willing to make.

But seriously. While scientific theories had huge gaps in them God was pretty safe, as time has gone by and the gaps closed God has been squeezed out. The sort of people that can still hold onto this 'squeezed God' really do have serious issues with getting to grip with reality.
