Christian Bible: source of Holocaust

As Christian theocratic forces in this country push to promote Christianity with government funds and venues, Americans must be reminded that Christianity, particularly the New Testament itself, harbors a vicious, dangerous and deadly paradigm in respect to adherents of Judaism.

Since the 4th century, the New Testament has both motivated and legitimized Christian hatred of Jews and severely antisemitic Christian theology (ie: Martin Luther's "The Jews and their Lies")  Thus both elements, the New Testament and its exegesis became the foundation of centuries of persecution and genocide of Jews at the hands of Christian majorities.  This deadly Christian persecution culminated in the Christian faith-based initiative known as the Holocaust in which 6,000,000 Jewish children, women and men were systematically executed simply for the fact that they were Jewish.

Two clear examples illustrating the New Testament basis of this dangerous and deadly paradigm come from John 8 and  1 Thessalonians ...

QuoteJohn 8:44 ... Ye [Jews] are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye [Jews] will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

John 8:47 ... He that is of God heareth God's words: ye [Jews] therefore hear them not, because ye [Jews] are not of God.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 - 16 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

(14) For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:

(15) Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

(16) Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

Scores of additional examples can be given but suffice it to say that New Testament verses such as these served to promote anti-Semitism and subsequent atrocities against Jews throughout the history of Christianity.
The most recent, the Holocaust, annihilated two-thirds of Europe's Jewish population.
