Quote from: "quizlixx"it is insanely gory, but they present it in such a way that it doesn't distract from the game, it enhances it. you feel like something would be lacking without all the gore. buy it. now. not kidding, go to wal-mart right now and buy it. if you cant get it, i'll mail it to you.

So i went and bought it. I played roughly 5 minutes of it before my Xbox crashed... I turned it back on to see the red ring of death!!    :upset:  :(

No, that would be silly. I hold it against Bill Gates.

To add insult to injury, my internet was down all weekend. My cable modem has died and they couldn't send an engineer around until tonight. For the first time in years, i had to endure an entire weekend (other than whan i'm away visiting friends) in the dark ages.

I basically sat on a chair in a darkened room rocking backwards and forwards for 40 hours.......

Actually I believe it was:

Homer: "No TV and no beer make Homer go something, something..."

Marge: "Go crazy...?"

Homer: "Don't mind if I do! *series of crazy noises*".

Just puttin it out there. . . HAF weekend takeover of world of warcraft. if you don't play it, get the demo, it would be a fun way to have a good time and a live chat with some fellow gamers we all know and love from the forums.
I'm thinking some weekend maybe. :D

I work all weekend. :/ Though, I'm definitely going to be getting into The Secret World when it gets released. *drool*

Right now I'm playing Fallout 3. It's enjoyable, but doesn't quite stand up to Oblivion. Too monochromatic, I think.

It is rather green and grey isn't it? I just got to the citadel with that giant robot at its centre. I'm looking forward to when that beast gets unleashed :)

i did buy fallout 3 and beat it and i have a couple of complaints. Not enough ammo for anything. Third person was so ugly that i never wanted to do it, even to look at my cool new armour. and after you beat the game. . .that's it. i wanted to keep playing.
they should have done something like oblivion and given me "golden dragon vault suit"

Uhh... not this gaming generation. The Wii has been churning out a ton of shovelware that you have to wade through before you get to the good games. The majority of the good games on the Wii are made by Nintendo and they are few and far between. On the other hand, the Xbox 360 and PS3 have much larger line-ups of AAA titles. But still, my preferred gaming platform is the PC.

PC > Consoles any day for me.

I've simply never liked anything Nitendo has ever made. I guess i prefer realism when it comes to games. I want to be able to shoot something and not have banannas come out of it. That's just me, though.

PC > consoles is something i definitely agree with. The only issue i have is the constant upgrades i keep having to do to keep up with ever-increasing complexity of games.

I actually don't mind since I like to browse computer hardware. Building computers is an interest to me and it is what influenced me to choose a computer engineering major in college next year.
