Thanks, Bruno, that's not a bad virtual tour.  Mrs Git and I have spent quite a few hours in there over the last 20 years, and we like it although it's quite small for one of the original Norman purpose-built cathedrals and has not been sympathetically treated by Victorian restorers.

I love this song, this style of music so much (The clarinet especially). Music is really the only accompaniment to mood I can think of besides solitude that can lift my depression, but maybe that's because I'm so damn   sentimental.

Anyway the song is: La Mer (Beyond the Sea)
Dan Gibson's Solitude

Staying with the clarinet how about "Begin The Beguine" - Artie Shaw

Simply a classic, and the best music for the holidays.

Pasta Chick

I have a CD of low-fi, straight off the radio Christmas recordings from 1945.  I found it in a bargain bin somewhere.  It's my favorite.

Never forget:  Way back in 1994, this happened.

I'm only sorry that Michael Bolton wasn't involved.

I really like this song by George Ezra - Budapest-

He's got a really cool voice, which seems way more mature than his age.

Budapest
Song by George Ezra

My house in Budapest
My hidden treasure chest,
Golden grand piano
My beautiful Castillo
For you
You
I'd leave it all
My acres of a land
I have achieved
It may be hard for you to,
Stop and believe
But for you
You
I'd Leave it all
Give me one good reason
Why I should never make a change
And baby if you hold me
Then all of this will go away
My many artifacts
The list goes on
If you just say the words
I'll up and run
Oh, to you
You
I'd leave it all
Give me one good reason
Why I should never make a change
And baby if you hold me
Then all of this will go away
Give me one good reason
Why I should never make a change
And baby if you hold me
Then all of this will go away
My friends and family
They, don't understand
They fear they'd lose so much
If, you took my hand
But, for you
You,
I'd...
"Some people just need a high-five. In the face. With a chair."
