Pasta Chick

Not current, but on the drive down here my dog was screaming along to The Blow Monkeys "You Don't Own Me," which was beyond hilarious.

TwistedKnickers

I just found out about the Penguin Cafe Orchestra. I really like them.

In Asmo's grey lump,
wrath and dark clouds gather force.
Luxembourg trembles.

Bjork - Bachelorette
This song always gives me goosebumps. I love when music is so good that you have an involuntary physical reaction to it!

"Great, replace one book about an abusive, needy asshole with another." - Will (moderator) on replacing hotel Bibles with "Fifty Shades of Grey"

Apparently it's by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros and is called Home.  I just kind of like it :)

Aaron Copeland, 'Appalachian Spring'.  It's much later than my usual cutoff date of 1820, but I love it anyway.

I sometimes think Beethoven in his later years would have liked it; then I recall that (a) he was deaf, (b) he's dead.  Oh, well.

The Asmo is evilly covering Termination Bliss.

The cry that she made
Was the cry of a dying child
*Pling-pling-plong-pling*
(The revocation of empathy)

The sound from a million dreams and scars
*Plong-pling*
(Termination bliss)
