Yep.

Poppies are, after all, the literal opium for the masses.

I remember some years ago, we were advised against eating poppy seeds for the duration of a somewhat-sensitive job, just in case there were tests. There were not, but still, apparently, you could test positive for quite some time after having that bagel.
