Common sense is what "we" call "I," who agrees with "us."

There really is not much more to it. It's common sense that you should not juggle chainsaws - especially in a public area. But then, maybe you are a professional chainsaw juggler and doing precisely that is... What you do.

It has its place, common sense does. However, it being applied one problem and situation at a time, it's also prone to turning to common nonsense, should enough people agree that the proverbial sky is green. And falling.

Practical sense outweighs common sense. Common sense can be merely what is popular.
The only thing possible the world needs saving from are the ones running it.
Oh lord, save us from those wanting to save us.
I'm not a Theist.

Asmodean

Indeed. At least, I'm of the opinion that it ought to.

Practical sense would be science, would it not? It takes commonsense to believe in science.

Not really. Science is your tool for building models. Practical sense is your approach to using said tool.

...That makes sense, doesn't it?

It does in a sense.
