Is it just me or is their a trend in Netflix films, not the films on Netflix, but the Netflix films on Netflix.

Common traits.

Dystopian.
Minimum cast.
Minimum (if any special effects).
Forced emotional linkage.

Classic examples, Bird Cage, and Bokeh.

Winning formula? :notsure:

I don't know, I've only watched 'Bright' and 'Outlaw King', both produced by Netflix.

Bright was adequate. Haven't seen the Outlaw King yet.

Outlaw King was good, IMO, even though it had Chris Pine in it.

For as decent as their tv shows are, I've not been impressed with Netflix's films. I feel like a lot of them try too hard and are repetitive

I agree. Have some cracking TV. Altered Carbon, Peaky Blinders, Lost in Space, Discovery etc.
