Quote from: "thiolsulfate"http://www.youtube.com/user/Zuke696

Whole lot of science and documentaries all organized into nice, neat playlists for your viewing pleasure.

Enjoy.

That's been my favourite and most used YT channel for some time now. Zuke696 is an utter machine. The amount of vids he's uploaded is staggering.
QuoteI find it mistifying that in this age of information, some people still deny the scientific history of our existence.

As far as I know, no one has posted these atheist youtube accounts:

ZJ:
http://www.youtube.com/user/ZJemptv

He covers a wide variety of topics including atheism, and his videos are pretty insightful.

Theoretical Bullshit (Scott):
http://www.youtube.com/user/TheoreticalBullshit

On his channel you'll find his thoughts on Religion, Atheism, Philosophy, Morality, and Skepticism.
And to boot he is a rather studly young man if I don't say so myself!

ProfMTH:
http://www.youtube.com/user/ProfMTH

This is another must see youtuber, I believe he's a Professor at a NYC university, I might be mistaken (there's not really a lot known about his background)
BUT he tackles a lot of subjects on religion from difficult Christians sects, biblical contradictions, etc. And his videos are not only informative but funny as well.

frisbeesANDflipflops (Nikki):
http://www.youtube.com/user/frisbeesANDflipflops

Another Atheist youtuber who makes videos about her journey from theism to atheism.

Proteanview (Ed):
http://www.youtube.com/user/proteanview

He's either Atheist or Agnostic, I forget which one. Here's an excerpt from him:

QuoteMore content than animation here. My videos are not research projects. They're ideas & questions to facilitate discussion & research by you, the viewer.

The Peach:
http://www.youtube.com/user/xxxThePeachxxx

QuoteI am an avid supporter of critical thinking and common sense; appeals to emotion and abstract questions don't impress me. There are many lovely ideas and suggestions dealing with the origins of life, our planet, and the universe, but without credible evidence, there's no reason to believe any of it is true.

Meh, there are still a lot of people not listed that I'm subscribed to, but the list was getting pretty long so I decided to end it here.

Not exactly atheists of Youtube, but two avowed atheists, Stephen Fry and Craig Ferguson, chatting for an hour. Pure awesomeness. (All the videos are in order on the link; I'm too lazy to recode them for the board.)

I've been a subscriber to a lot of these channels for a while now. Lots of excellent material (both from a humorous and informational stand point). On Easter, some friends and I actually got the motivation to start making our own videos. I threw one together pretty quickly Sunday (I wasn't very happy with it, but whatever... need to start somewhere). If anyone would like to check it out, here's the link to our channel page: http://www.youtube.com/laughatreligion

excerpt from the channel page:
QuoteEscaping religion and indoctrination from youth is probably one of the most difficult tasks you could ever face. I remember being a doubter in church and being told that all I needed was a mustard seed of faith. That god would reveal himself to me in time. There were so many things presented to me that just strung me on through delusion. Isn't it funny how god keeps having to "prove himself" in people's lives?

One of our (yes, our) goals is to present some of the absurdities of the bible. The fact that any of these stories hold credibility is amazing. They play them up as a big, emotional message to appeal to the naive.

There's a lot of Christians out there that are good people. It actually saddens me to see them in psychological slavery to a fairy tale.
[size=85]"Man is the religious animal. He is the only religious animal. He is the only animal that has the True Religion, several of them. He is the only animal that loves his neighbor as himself and cuts his throat if his theology isn’t straight. This is what he wrote under the About Me:

"A former Christian of 30 years, I ultimately found that religion, faith and scripture lacked any true answers, especially in the (bright) light of scientific discovery and the truth of Evolution by Natural Selection.

Having an insiders perspective of Christianity, I use my skills as a producer to stir the pot of debate and, hopefully, make it uncomfortable for anyone to be a mere spectator in the arena of ideas."

It is what I subscribe to.

I'm not an avid you tube watcher but have been told that AronRa is famous on the internet (his shirt as this past sunday's protest of the Texas state board of education said so as well)

Thunderf00t seems to have had some kind of breakdown. I've never seen him so pissed off before.

Anyone seen his recent videos? Seems to be dividing opinion big time.
QuoteI find it mistifying that in this age of information, some people still deny the scientific history of our existence.

Davin

He's a big supporter of free speech, I think he just let some people get under his skin about it.
Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

harriedheretic

richard, the dick, coughlin. http://www.youtube.com/user/coughlan666

He's a bit profane at times, and the video quality is usually a bit crappy.

http://www.youtube.com/user/FFreeThinker - he uploads varied clips on the subject of atheism

http://www.youtube.com/user/TheraminTrees

http://www.youtube.com/user/QualiaSoup

Both are really insightful and a bit more on the philosophical side. Not to mention the videos are really good quality.

http://www.youtube.com/user/Evid3nc3 - another good channel with high quality videos, but more on the subject of his personal deconversion.

Worth checking out.

QuoteI'm just doin' my part to raise awareness of science and the growing socio-political opposition to it. I really wish academic mastery was more important in this country.

QuoteDo you reject science and all it brings? Will you have the courage to reject science and grasp at symbols of your religion when you are lying in hospital bed, close to death? Will you place your faith in prayer rather than penicillin ? Will you die fighting a war fighting for your religious values ? Would you kill infidels in the name of an intangible entity ? Will you continue to consume resources in a finite world because a 2000 year old book tells you that you have dominion over all living things?
If you accept the bible as the unshakeable word of god that is your right. However, the evidence for your decision is flawed. Maybe it is flawed in culture, family ties or your are simply a victim of propaganda. To deal with the power of the institute that promotes an infallible doctrine is difficult if you are born into a place where it is considered the norm, but critical thinking will show there is only one conclusion.
There is no God.

QuoteIf atheism is a "religion", then Not Collecting Stamps is a "hobby". I don't argue that "god" doesn't exist. I'm not concerned about proofs, or likelihoods, or probabilities, of there being a "God" or not. Actually, I lean towards there being some kind of a creative force, though I would not argue for that being the case, and I have absolutely no idea of the nature of what such a "force" might be. I argue against the idea that the Bible has anything to do with truth in the areas of divinity or spirituality. The Bible is a demonstrably revolting and appalling piece of writing. It is morally redundant, and so full of murder, revenge, punishment, war, and bigotry that it amazes me that anyone can even mistake it for being in any way "holy".

Don't see a channel description, but he's a British small-time stand-up comedian and his videos address many topics in a brash, all-on-the-table approach. Definitely an M rated channel!

QuoteI am age 75, math teacher retired from classroom teaching, now self-employed as a private math tutor. I live near Houston, Texas. My hobbies are music and chess. I invite you to visit my website (see above).
As a young adult, I was a seminarian and then a Catholic priest, for a total of twelve years. I am now an atheist. I now deeply regret those twelve years as wasted years. Some of the reasons that I now make religious videos are: I want to make up for those wasted years. I value truth and rational thought. I see much harm and evil coming from religious faith. I am convinced that, as rational thought increases and faith recedes, our human species will evolve in better directions, and I want to contribute to that evolution.

Hi everyone,

I made a funny movie about the "love of God" : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1IGj1f5Ju4
