I'll second (or third) that thought!

Here's a picture of our new kitty named "Nez":

We got her from the humane society on Mother's day, and she's very shy.
She hid under the couch for about 2 weeks when we brought her home.
Finally starting to come out of her shell...

Weird.I had a Lokie  (trickster god) but he's off to better places.A woman down the road has a female and ended up taking Lokie in.It was after I had both cats inside for a month and finally gave into my allergies.Lokie was so cute,he use to go into the bathroom and turn the water on.He would sit there all night with it dripping and play in it.

Will

This is Jack resting after a hard day's work.
I want bad people to look forward to and celebrate the day I die, because if they don't, I'm not living up to my potential.

Smallville

I had two until quite recently: a seventeen year old cat - Maggie and her companion, a fifteen year old mutt - Ben.
They both died of old age within a couple of weeks of each other.
She ruled; he drooled.
I haven't had the heart to get others yet.
They were good companions for us and each other.
Two wrongs don't make a right but three left turns will.

I can certainly understand - so sorry for your loss...

My last cat was with me for over 12 years, and it took about a year after he passed for us to get Nez (our current cat).

Sounds like you had some good friends indeed.

Evolved

All I have are dust bunnies.

Actually, this looks more like a hair bunny.

Thanks, Joe. They were the best of friends to each other and good companions for us. When we're ready we'll probably go back to the local shelter and pick up a couple of young ones to raise together.

Sorry about their passing. But I'm sure they were very lucky to have had you as a owner.I keep seeing so many people who get a cat or dog and then just leave it to fend for itself.Really nice to see people who treat animals with respect.
