I deal with a lot of Christians preaching at me where I live.
I also deal with personal temptation and Christians tell me turn or burn
I personally feel if I did become a Christian again, I would have to ignore most of what the Bible actually said.
temptation...  :notsure:
Turn, or burn?
Turn, or burn?
Turn, or burn?

Jesus, Christ! Decisions...decisions...

...I would just burn.
But I think most of you already knew that about me.  :smilenod:

If I knew exactly how many minutes per day I'm focusing on atheism, then I'm probably focusing too much on it.   :-\

I'm more wondering why "going back" is a problem?

If you believe in God(s), you believe in God(s). Not a big deal. You don't have to be Fundamentalist Christian, agree with or even like Biblical teachings to believe in God(s).

You don't even need to believe in a god to be a Xtian in the sense of being a Christ follower.  Thomas Jefferson did that, tore the NT to bits, taking out the woo, which is available as the Jefferson Bible.  Or you could be a "red letter Xtian", which is close to what Jefferson did, taking as gospel only those parts in red, which are supposed to be Jesus' direct quotes from disciples who actually knew him.  The big benefit of this is that it eliminates all the gospel of Paul, reducing the NT from a book to a pamphlet.  Very convenient.  Of course, either way you still have to do some cherry picking but all theists do that, there's no getting around that one.

Can't you just roll or flop until the side representing your head is against the ground and wiggle around or something? I mean, bears cant reach their own shoulders but they still know how to scratch their back.

They come here.  But they have much more power.
