The art of war is putting somebody else's arse on the line and then profiting from their death.

It is crazy to produce art. Art is worthless until someone puts a price on it.

Art is a production of value to the person who produces it. Any price put on the work is meaningless to the artist.

Art is meaningless, without value, unless critiqued.

Not to the person who produces it. External critique of art is meaningless as the person critiquing the work is not a mind reader and therefore judging from a state of ignorance. Their comments can therefore be dismissed as inconsequential waffle. Art is the intellectual, physical and emotion production of the artist and is created for nobody other than the artist.

Quote from: MarcusA on August 11, 2023, 04:45:49 AMNo art is private in the long run.

How would you know? And how could that possibly be true? You just stated the White Blackbird fallacy. You can't know or rationally state that all Blackbirds are black. You have not seen all blackbirds, nobody has, because Black birds have existed for possibly millions of years. You have not met all artists nor seen their work. And if they chose to keep their work private you would never know simply because they kept it private.
