So my newly-laundered pants ended up in a dirty salt pool this morning, along with pretty-much the rest of me. Ah, the many grievances of being a The Asmo on ice...

We've had some wind tonight - more than we usually get, so it helped melt the roads a little, but it did cool down the house a lot while at it.

All misery all over. The Asmo blames that Pudding character. He prolly stole all the warmth and sunshine and is now wantonly and with abandon deploying it in the upside-down land >:(

Oh happy day. I enjoyed the 81 F temp today.  It had previously been less pleasant and as low as the 50s during the day and as low as 36 at night.

Spring appears to have arrived at last. The last two weeks have totally changed the landscape out of all recognition.

Harmonie

Hello, long time no post! =)

I finally moved to the Northeast, and yet I'm now dealing with the heat anyway. Oh well, I've come to terms with the fact that summer is a miserable season everywhere. Or where it might not be as much would be some really remote location like Iceland or something.

Thankfully they came down on the temperatures a little from where they were projecting several days ago, but still hitting the 90s.  :oh dear:

Agreed!
As for the weather here, we run the AC sporadically, during the mid-afternoon, if at all. Leaving the windows open at night brings the temp down. Time is coming when that won't be the case. I'm amazed/appalled when I walk around the neighborhood and the temp is fine (morning, maybe 60°F), and hear people's AC running.  :???:

Same here in Germany. Too much rain as well. Some cities in the South were flooded.
