Chakras? A poor rhyme, but better than nothing, yes?  ;D

In Asmo's grey lump,
wrath and dark clouds gather force.
Luxembourg trembles.

Well ... I did have another word in mind, but  I didn't like to say it.  ;D

Here's one:

I dance to primal heat that fills
nights as flowing mugs of beer.
I fear tomorrow, I'll be ill,
from all this Everclear.

Wow Gaven, heady stuff.
Ummm...is that good or bad?
The essence of the mind is not in what it thinks, but how it thinks. Faith is the surrender of our mind; of reason and our skepticism to put all our trust or faith in someone or something that has no good evidence of itself. That is a sinister thing to me. Of all the supposed virtues, faith is not.

Imagine going back in time
To innocence of early years
When you and I were always fine
We weren't bothered by careers

We didn't see the others' pain
One we have not yet had to share
For every loss there was a gain
Ripe to be had by those who dared

That time has passed into a dream
And age has claimed its rightful toll
In spite of dreams and winds of time
My friend, I miss you most of all

We saw blue skies and stormy weather
And rushed to see the world unknown
Back then we were alive together
Tonight we slowly die alone

Just did this one on the fly... Has no name yet and coherence may be missing here and there... Can't be bothered to re-read to check  :P
Total class!! Loved it!!

They're after Asmo's  ... err ... what rhymes with 'attack us'?
Frack us?

Thank you. Mostly, people don't like my poetry much beause it tends to be... Less-than-happy. It is, however, the kind I do best.

Liked your stuff as well. Relatively light and easy reading  :)

All right, here's a non-form poem:

Born Again

This bowler hat is taped
and chained and glued
to my flesh colored balloon.

I suck air, and breathe out
helium. Go ahead, and mock
my tiny voice. Will you laugh

when it explodes and slings
brain tripe pozole and grease
underneath your fingertips?

Ali

I guess it does kind of look like a flesh balloon wearing a bowler hat.  Huh.

Stevil

IDK

In the beginning of time
       Bang was big
       Do you dig
Born from neither reason nor rhyme

Beginning no certainty
       Cause and effect
       Had nought to infect
Infinite regress problem most certainly

Creation of many myth story
       Humans without pants
        Knowledge or ignorance
Tis a mystery of lost history

With power granted eternal
        Angry gods
        The first mods
Location Earth turned infernal

Scriptures of abundant metaphor
        Confusion
        Delusion
Creative interpretations galore

Critical reading of many a myth story
        Questions mound
        No answers found
Tis a mystery of lost history

Hector Valdez

Wow. That's awesome stevil.

Something I prepared earlier:

On listening to The Pogues while my wife plants asparagus

Sweetie, please watch out for bees
'cos my ipod volume's set to max
and I won't hear your alto screams
above the more rumbustious tracks.

Some ideas are so stupid only an intellectual could believe them (Orwell).
