I haven't heard this March Of The Sinister Ducks song for ages.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJO2Tjp3hQ0

http://www.lyricstime.com/the-sinister-ducks-march-of-the-sinister-ducks-lyrics.html

Quote
Everyone thinks they're such sweet little things
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Soft downy feathers and nice little wings
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
But there's a poison I'd like to administer,
You think they're cuddly but I think they're sinister.
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
What are they doing at night in the park?
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Think of them waddling about in the dark.
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Sneering and whispering and stealing your cars,
Reading pornography, smoking cigars.
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Nasty and small undeserving of life.
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
They smirk at your hairstyle and sleep with your wife.
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Dressed in black jackets and horrible shoes,
Getting divorces and turning to booze.
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Forcing old ladies to throw them some bread.
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Who could deny they'd be better off dead?
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Look closer and you may recoil in surprise,
At web-footed fascists with mad little eyes.
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!
Ducks, Ducks! Quack, Quack! Quack, Quack!

^^  That was so awesome that I read it aloud to my Husband.  Except, one small criticism.  It should be "Geese, geese, honk, honk."  Geese are the true villains of the waterfowl world.

Quite true.  They are of Beelzebub and not to be trusted.  They are rather tasty, though.

Another cheery ditty is Tom Lehrer's Poisoning Pigeons in the Park, even though it should really have been aimed at geese.

Took this in Toronto. Have a 'fun frames' option on my cell with a very useful mallet:

Question of the day: when you're not online/on the computer at all, what do you do for fun offline? (hobbies, entertainment, etc.)

Reading, chatting to my wife, family and friends, walking my doggies, taking photographs, watching films and TV, looking after my grandson, writing stories (although I mostly do this on a PC as transcription is a ball ache).

- Go for walks/bike rides
- Play with the little guy
- Chat with the hubby
- Tribal fusion dance lessons
- Yoga (when I'm not too lazy to do it)

I would LIKE to start oil painting again and have the time to start a novel I've been thinking about, but I don't know when that'll happen. Tongue I'll probably have to wait until after I finish my program. I have a chronic case of "I want to do everything yesterday" syndrome.

DJ, I have a bad case of that syndrome, too.  Cheesy

For me, I like to read, research history topics, play with/look after my daughter when I have her, draw cartoons (they're no good, they're just for my entertainment), learn the keyboard (ack, heh), go for bike rides, browse dollar stores/garage sales/used bookstores, chat with friends/family, take photos, watch movies, and go see fun cultural stuff like museums, festivals and events.

Wow, I missed a lot over the weekend!  I'll try to catch up!

Changing my Nationality.  I guess I mean that if you could go back and choose which Nationality to be born in to which would you choose?  I would pick either Italian or Swiss as they are where my parents were from.  But right now, I was born an American and I wish to stay an American.

As for my theme song, I don't really have one, but I have a favorite Aria.  Nessun Dorma.  I'd like that played at my funeral some day.

As for hobbies outside of this forum...I'm an avid Cross stitcher and stitch things up for friends, for myself and for charity.  I also sing...I sing soprano in our local community chorus (I'd love to sing in a band though!).  I also do beading and specialize in Chain Maille.  But I will do pearl knotting and other kinds of beading.  I also do some costuming and also do photography.

Sometimes I think I need more hours in the day...or just cut out sleep haha!

Oh, I should add I'm also involved on an ongoing basis to perfecting my American Sign Language.  My husband is deaf and we communicate through sign.

I love going out with him too and we shop and see movies and such together.  We are both Comic book geeks as well as Science Fiction nerds, haha.

Playing video games takes most of my time outside of the internet; other than that, I just hang out with my girlfriend.

Beachdragon, it's awesome that you're working on your ASL! I bet you're a lot more fluent in it than I am, but I enjoy ASL, too. When I was younger, an old friend taught me quite a bit of it and I picked it up quickly (this is about 12 years ago) but after we fell out of touch, my skills grew very rusty. It is a LOT of fun. I basically just know the alphabet, how to say hello, ask someone how they are, answer fine, and give very simple directions -- you know, survival ASL.  Cheesy

Somewhere around here I have a few books on signing. Are there any books or sites that you really recommend?

Read, play with DeeDee using her feather toy, read, bake, play with DeeDee using the laser, read, go out with girlfriend, avoid thinking about work, read.

We used to take long walks in the lovely countryside round here, but I'm not fit enough now.  We visit as many medieval and ancient sites and buildings as possible and take a lot of photographs.  Diabetes has numbed my fingers to the point where I can no longer play my guitar, but we listen to a lot of music.

Nyah, urrghh .... Nurse!  Quick! I've done it again.  Grin
