Thinking about getting a bicycle. Nothing fancy. This one caught my eye. Super cute! I bought this bike last fall:  It's a great little bike - it's faster than a mountain bike, but let's me go "off roading" or curb jumping here or there when I need to. I use it 2-3 times a week and I really like it. I think "hybrid" bikes are the way to go! |

I have a hybrid bike that I use as well. It is great when I have to exercise the mini horses at the farm that I work at, as well as just taking a pedal on the local bike trail.

Here's me:  I've done 4 rides on it so far. This one is my 'good' mountain bike and my pride and joy. About 5 years old and a pleasure to ride. I built this one myself from the frame up. I'll be taking it to Wales next month for a thrash around the mountains.  ...And this one is my 'every day' bike. This has been stripped and rebuilt about 5 times and is always on stand-by for when I break stuff on the other one. There are no original components on the bike other than the frame.  I also designed and manufactured the Raidium Chainguide which I sell online.   |

I have a Moongoose that I ride sometimes. Except I need to get one of those cart things that you can drag behind your bike so I can take T with. Only being able to go out for a spin when someone is around to watch him = almost never going out for a spin. If I could take him with, that would be a whole different ballgame.

I have a Moongoose that I ride sometimes. Except I need to get one of those cart things that you can drag behind your bike so I can take T with. Only being able to go out for a spin when someone is around to watch him = almost never going out for a spin. If I could take him with, that would be a whole different ballgame.
You ever seen a 'Bobike'? These are forward facing seats which clip on to the front of your bike. Here's one like mine. They're great because you can chat while you cycle and the littluns can get a good view around. Let me know if you need a Raidium Chainguide... EDIT: We also had a Trailgator:  These were great for getting to and from the park with the bikes, then you can let them off the leash and away they go. Evidently worked well for me (what, with a Championship contender in the ranks!). A friend of mine has twin boys of just over a year. He sticks them in a little covered twin trailer hitched to the back of his bike (A bit like a queens carriage I suppose). He says they love it and it's good training for him! |
