I'm not crazy
« on: April 09, 2007, 02:37:30 AM »
I thought that would be a good opener.

Hi! I'm Mike. I live in Maine. I'm 34, married and have a daughter on the way due in August. *can't wait!*

The rents tried raising me Catholic but something in me found it to not make any sense. It's like I could see through it. More on that later.

Anyway, I've considered myself an atheist for several years. At first, I didn't know what to call it. I heard the term "agnostic" and thought it was the closest thing I would get so I stuck with it until I learned what atheism was. I used to think it was being a bad person, a heathen, a devil worshiper which is what the penguins would have you think. I now know that I can be an awesome, good, loving person without any god in my life.

Anyway, see you out in the forum!
