It's not that we can not afford to feed it. The issue here is responsibility, and this rather unfortunate individual is none of mine.
I agree with Asmo to some degree, although photos like that always tear at my heart.

That's a sad and scary image to look at... But it goes back to the core of education, doesn't it? Why have children in the first place if you cannot afford to feed them? If you wanna cut the thread from here, go ahead.  Sad I always see images of mothers with five kids and no food to go around in countries like South America , not just Africa...

I agree with Asmo to some degree, although photos like that always tear at my heart.

I think the point of the was to illustrate the hypocrisy of churches, mandated to help the poor spending vast amounts of wealth on monstrosities like St. Peters in Rome, not tug the heartstrings of atheists into action.
