Sen. John McCain blasted President Donald Trump on Friday for approving the release of the highly controversial GOP-Nunes memo, saying "if we continue to undermine our own rule of law, we are doing Putin's job for him."

So, do you side with McCain, or Trump?  In my view, Trump and his clan are traitors to the United States and to its Constitution.

I've read bits and pieces of the reaction to the memo. I've tried taking a break from politics lately but its tough not to get involved. From what I gather it tells half the story. Such as getting a warrant for Page relying entirely on the dossier but they had an original warrant back in 2014? Seems to change things a bit. Either way it seems the GOP and Trump have won this round. Its changed public perception of the FBI and the administration (to a point) and thats all that matters. Curious how the Dem's play it going forward. I know they were going to release a memo of their own with a bit more info.

It seems like a case of holding the dirty washing (in this case underpants) up to public scrutiny, and ridicule, before washing them. Purely politics of the worst kind

And, of course, as Voyager suggests, it is almost certainly not the complete story, the claim being that these are entirely the "other side's" dirty underwear.

It will be a shame if the FBI did get their fingers stained with political shit but I will bet it is not the first time and I would hope it was for the most patriotic of reasons - attempting to serve justice rather than personal gain or intrigue.

And yes, I would bet on Putin grinning at America making a public fool of itself.
Tomorrow is precious, don't ruin it by fouling up today.
