I'll be in Toronto, Ontario for basically the week of January 23rd. Now, I realize I'm new, and nobody here knows me yet. I also realize that most of you folks seem to live in the US or the UK, with maybe a few exceptions. :) That being said, I'm pretty down to earth, I plan on sticking around this forum for as long as you'll have me here, and I like to meet new folks and maybe grab a coffee and chat about stuff as much as the next person does.

So hey, if anyone's up to meeting in a public place (touristy location, a coffee shop, etc) and getting to know someone you'll probably be interacting with at HAF, I thought I'd put out the offer. :)

I would but last time I made such an arrangement I ended up being shoved in a sack, waking to find myself being gnawed upon by epicurean Satanists.  I wouldn't have minded if only they had asked.  Why do people think they have to trick puddings and toss them in a sack?

I'm sure Amicale wouldn't toss anyone in sack though.
Well actually I'm not, I'll be keeping my eye on her.
That cat looks evil.

I thought that we had agreed you wouldn't be mentioning that 'incident'  >:(

Yeah, Magic Pudding better stay away from me.

I eat pudding. Butterscotch and tapioca in particular are delicious.

When it comes to that, Yorkshire pudding's great too....

.... even if I don't always know quite where to put it.

I'm in Ottawa from time to time (either Nepean or downtown mostly, but hey, I know how to use OC Transpo just fine so it's no prob!)

Next time I'm heading that way, if you still feel like hanging out with someone from HAF, I'll send you a message if you'd like, and we'll see if it'd work out? :)

I'm becoming too busy for HAF for a while. :( I have four assignments due next Friday, I'm working two jobs and I have a little munchkin running around that I rarely get to see.

:(

Sad panda.

I'm becoming suspicious.
That doesn't sound like Juliet usually does.
Amicale, if you've eaten Juliet you're going to be in big trouble.
I'll send Power Hungry Tank and Asmo after you!

Hmm... *looks up a recipe in her 'How to Cook Juliets' book..*

...Nah. Not gonna bother. This one's too Determined.  ;D

Besides, I could bribe Tank with delicious cookies. Right Tank?  ;)

So, your wife should give you one of these for Valentine's day, and you'd be a HappyTank?

Ye well you corrupted Power Hungry Tank with biscuits, no surprise there.
Did you check all his in and outs, protuberances and crevices?
There may me a surprise planted there somewhere.

She'll have to catch me first. And I'm not averse to a little grinding!  :o

:D ROFL!

Alas, Tank, you seem like a sweet guy, but if it's all the same to you, I'd really rather not.  ;D No hard feelings. It's just that I'm really not too into tanks. Their guns tend to get stuck in awkward places, and then all sorts of questions of a dubious nature arise. So Tanks, but no Tanks! ;) But hey, let's grab a beer and shoot some pool, or whatever floats your boat! *grin*
