I don't know why there's no youtube for Rattlsnakes

QuoteJJodie wears a hat
Although it hasn't rained for six days
She says a girl needs a gun these days
On account of all the rattlesnakes

She looks like Eve Marie Saint
In "On the Waterfront"
She reads Simone de Beauvoir
In her American circumstance

She's less than sure if her heart has come
To stay in San Jose
And her neverborn child still haunts her
As she speeds down the freeway
As she tries her luck with the traffic police
Out of boredom more than spite
She never finds no trouble, she tries too hard
She's obvious despite herself

She looks like Eve Marie Saint
In "On the Waterfront"
She says all she needs is therapy
Yes, all you need is love is all you need

Jodie never sleeps cause there are always
Needles in the hay
She says a girl needs a gun these days
On account of all the rattlesnakes

She looks like Eve Marie Saint
In "On the Waterfront"
As she reads Simone de Beauvoir
In her American circumstance
Her heart, heart's like crazy paving
Upside down and back to front
She says oh, it's so hard to love
When love was your great disappointment
Take my advice, don't listen to me.

Whooda thunk it?  Sharks prefer jazz music.  Research carried out at Mc Quarie university in Sydney Aus., revealed that juvenile Port Jackson sharks can be rapidly trained to associate the sound of jazz with food. When exposed to jazz they swim toward it.  When the same experiment is tried with classical music they largely pottered around looking lost and getting increasingly peckish.  It seems that Beethovens Hammerheadklavia sonata or Schubert's great white C major symphony will not be entering the repertoire any time soon.

JJ that's a weird ass video.  It strikes home though.  Earlier in the year I decided to grow some tomatoes.  Yeah right!!!!  I bought some seeds and was careful to use potting soil, compost, and all that stuff.  I tended the plants carefully. Watered, cajoled, talked to the plants even let them hear some classical music.  WOW......the things sprouted and developed shoots that extended as much a six feet long..........I pampered the bastards, gave them some tomato sticks to cling to. HMPHHHH.  Friggin things showed no signs of blooming and certainly no sign of even a single fruit.  I regrettably, have a brown thumb and plants do not like me except for the enormous array of weeds in my carefully tended lawn.

My daughter on the other hand is a genius with plants and vegetable sprouts.  I swear she could plant a damned rock and it would soon turn itself into a carrot, squash, eggplant, watermelon, or other useful fruit or vegetable.  She must not have the same genes as me.  I may consider the murder of the postman, milkman, or other man who sometimes .....well never mind.
