After using high school graduation by race as a (nit entireky appropriate to the thread subject) example I began to wonder about it.

Found this interesting site

Unfortunately the table can't be cut and pasted. Now, what if the lines of that table, the stste by state data, were coloured red and blue to represent party affiliation and some other means, say narrower or wider stripes of those colours, to indicate religiosity . . .

seems to indicate graduation numbers are slowly climbing year on year. Hope thst is real and not, as has been muttered about over here, due to dumbing down the exams.
