I take it that's a bristlecone pine? Yeah, persistence like that is OK for vegetables! Would not mind bring around for a few thousand years, but not literally rooted in one spot.

I like just enough chaos in my life to promote change, offer opportunity, make my brain work. Keep eyes and ears open for the useful, adopt and adapt. Don't let prejudice deny opportunity.

Background note on this one:

"Pay-2-Play" sites are internet sites where people post potential jobs for Voice Actors. The Voice Actors pay a yearly fee, plus other fees per job. The jobs are often low-paying, and the sites do not screen the talent for quality or professionalism. Generally seen by pros as degrading the VO industry overall...

Yeah, one of the pay-2-play sites just bought a portal used by Union agencies... Lots of agents leaving and going to a new platform. Yuck.
