I have to verify, but I heard they are actually going to play in Buffalo, NY!

Never listened to any folk metal before, erm yeah not sure I am feeling that one. though it could grow on me. I love folkatronica though that's a fantastic genre of music with bands and producers like Psapp, Four Tet, Colleen, Gold Panda, etc...

History-Geek, thanks for exposing me to Turisas. Reminds me of Blind Guardian, or music for a Scandinavian anime. I also like Ensiferum.

Crow, is that "folka-" as in "polka-tronica"? Got any favorite cuts? Or you can just tell me to go to Youtube. There is a certain polka-type, oom-pah element in Korpiklaani which risks someone coining the term "polka-metal".

MariaEvri, then meet me at the show! Buffalo or Toronto?
