If religions were TV channels atheism is turning the TV off.
"Religion is a culture of faith; science is a culture of doubt." ― Richard P. Feynman
'It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die. That is true, it's called Life.' - Terry Pratchett
Remember, your inability to grasp science is not a valid argument against it.

Always question all authorities because the authority you don't question is the most dangerous... except me, never question me.

Claire while you're mulling this decision to come out of retirement why don't you cozy up to a nice pot of tea, may I suggest a nice chamomile with a bit of lemongrass and honey, along with a good book to help you relax and think.

Perhaps you can even join us at the "HAF Book Club" where we are currently reading and just beginning a discussion on Carl Sagan's, "The Demon-Haunted World"?

Tom has even generously supplied us all with a free copy of the book. Here is the download as pdf file

Please?

Wow, I miss a day or so and important milestones pop up here.

So glad to have you here at HAF, Magdalena! Your good heart, vitality, and light touch are such an important part of what makes this site what it is; I hope you always stick around. Here's to the next 6,000!
