If this is true - what a way to use unrecyclable wood*, paper and card! Huge termitoriums noshing paper and priducing clean gas for cars etc. They could be built underground and the cars parked on top!

Just don't build them out of wood . . .

* Untreated wood, no chip board etc.

2 litres per sheet, but that would be slow if it took them 24 hours to ingest and digest that sheet. But, termites can come by the million - also a good source of protein, enzymes and minerals I believe. Termite burgers anyone?
