I recently ran across this site as featured on Slashdot.

It's a site that chronicles the current administrations interference in scientific inquiry.

It's sad and disgusting, all at once.

Sad, disgusting, and not a surprise: the Re[a]gan administration redefined ketchup as a vegetable to meet some silly requirement for school lunch nutrition.  Politics always trumps wise and honest policy in this administration.

Ketchup isn't a vegetable? Dammit! Now I have to recalculate all of my calorie counting back as far as 1984. Sonofabitch!
