I've been a Christian for 2 years.
I like to read widely and try to work things out for myself, but there is still lots of stuff I don't know.
I like philosophy, in particular Derrida, Nietzsche, Heidegger and Marx.
Theologians I like: Karl Barth, Paul Tillich, Tom Wright, C.S. Lewis.
I hope to learn something by participating on the forum.
I'm a pentecostal and believe in personal experience of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pleased to meet you.

Although I'm not a Christian, I've played one on stage (CS Lewis in Shadolands).
Fascinating man.

Hope you enjoy the forum,

So now I've just noticed I missed the second "l" out of Russell, and that would take my username to 21 letters...

oh well, I'll have to pretend I was referring to a different Bertrand Russel(l).

Incidentally, the Nobel Prize website has the name wrong at the end of their entry about him:

http://nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/literature/laureates/1950/russell-bio.html

"Bertrand Russel died on February 2, 1970"
