Here are some kids who can really get it on.  This one has better than average sound reproduction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzzsZAIR3YQ

Big band stuff that seems peculiarly unlikely for Japanese high schoolers.

Sweet Georgia Brown sung in Polish by two lovely people.

Thanks, Icarus, it was so nice to wake up to that. The conductor mentions Dave Brubeck, whose son, Darius Brubeck, lived and taught over here for a number of years.

This one is Pink Panther. It is most often done with a heavy feature with the saxaphone. Here is an arrangement that uses only strings.  A smashing rendition I think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMM_EiyvDBk

Ravel wrote his Piano Concerto for the Left Hand for Paul Wittgenstein, who lost his right hand in the First World War. Paul was Ludwig Wittgenstein's older brother. Here it's played by Yuja Wang in Rome.

I suppose everyone is aware of this but anyway:

Thanks, that was new to me; I found the article interesting. I have always loved Ravel's music, as well as a few other French composers like Debussy, Saint-Saëns, and Satie.
