A 14 year-old girl in the US created a device that solves one blind spot in a vehicle by "seeing through" it.

I've almost had wrecks from vehicles being hidden in that specific blind spot.  At just the right time, the car is completely hidden from sight, and in that split second, you make the wrong move.
