Have any of you ever volunteered for an experiment in a university or hospital and would like to talk about your experience?

Okay, but aren't you a fallible human too? :notsure: What is it about your perception that other human beings don't have? (I'm sure there's a name for this bias, I just can't remember right now).
Aye, I am human, and I am fallible too.   I don't think it's my perception that's different, just my approach.   I know where the lines between my impressions and physical reality lie.   As much as humanly possible, I leave my impressions out of my work.   I do my best to operate solely within physical reality and what it says.   It seems to work well for me!   Plenty of people like to argue with me over various things, but none get anywhere arguing against the notions I present.

Yes, through a filter of human perceptual and cognitive errors...
I manage.  ;) no peer review then? That is like, one of the major achievements of the scientific method. Unless you consider no one to be your peer...that's a whole other problem altogether.
lol   I don't think I come off as that dumb!  I may not incorporate human perceptions into formulating notions, but I sure do sick the wolves on my notions once I have them.    You see, I'm not satisfied with "that fits, let's run with it".   No, I'm satisfied when I can't break it.   Any notion that comes my way will get jumped, thoroughly beaten with every facet of the universe I can throw at it, and believed only if it makes it out completely unscathed.   Then I throw it at the meanest, brightest pack I can find to see if they can hurt it.    What you see here cannot be broken; it would have been already if it was in danger of it.

The psychologies behind religion, what enables them to be so pervasive, was also found in that investigation.

Now that's really interesting to me. You should start a thread on this if you want. :smilenod:
Oh, there's more to my message alright.  Perhaps the forum will stop fucking with the messenger long enough to get that far.  ;)

Last night I was sitting with Kahlua talking and the subject of our Dog/Kat poll here at HAF came up in the conversation, and I told him it was currently tied at 7 votes each.

He got really sad and said, "What the bloody hell is wrong with you humans? First you go and vote someone like Trump in for President. A man who was and is the worse possible candidate you could have possibly chosen, especially when you had such a wonderful, overly qualified candidate in Hillary Clinton.
We, meaning all living creatures on this planet will be fortunate indeed to survive intact his presidency...we animals were counting on you people to make the correct choice and you fucked it up big time"!

He continued, "Now you are presented with a simple vote of Dogs vs Kats and you are split 7 to 7? Seriously what the fuck is wrong with you people, and you say this is an atheist forum?

"This is too sad Bruno, simply too sad...."

And he curled up in his chair and was silent the rest of the evening.

However, just before heading out to the pub to celebrate St. Patrick's day (I know he's not even Irish) he turned to me and said, "Show them the Pastor Gene Kim sermons on kats, maybe that will persuade some of them to change their votes"

So here you go!

Pastor Gene Kim: The Bible Says Cats Are Evil

So please read the article, and watch the video below. Pastor Kim clearly presents overwhelming biblical knowledge which backs my claim that Kats are in fact Evil.

Then go back and for the sake of not only humanity, but poor Kahlua...change your vote to Dog.

Someone is desperate.
