Esa-Pekka Salonen, one of my favourite conductors, talking about two of my favourite composers, Debussy and Ravel.

Sometimes one reads something or hears someone say something that fits so perfectly with one's own feelings. This is one of those times.

^ Vivaldi could not have imagined a woman that hot to play one of his compositions...........or maybe he could have if he was a dirty old man as so many of us so secretively are.

Here is a piano player doing Fantasie Impromptu that we dirty old men may be pleased to see, not necessarily hear.........dirty young men might also be appreciative. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox/FMfcgxvzKkmXSHVnBlNcwJQsqfQwhbKg?projector=1

I was overwhelmed by Béla Bartók's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta when I heard it for the first time in my teens. Bartok has remained one of my favourite composers and this piece never fails to move me deeply.
