If religions were TV channels atheism is turning the TV off.

BR, I looked at your suicide machine picture once again.  Me, the incessant worrier, has an issue with the need for the steering damper that I just noticed.   If you need a damper, you do not have the rake and trail sorted so that it would make the front end more stable.

good eye. most people woul not have caught thar

the damper isnt necessary, but its a rule requirement over 125mph at the races in maine. at bonneville, everything has to have a damper, no matter how fast you go.

this machine has stock rake;  steering axis is some 28 degrees. trail is a bit less as im running much smaller wheels and tirez. but it tracked like a train with the stock suspension setup, hands off the bars at any speed, and my limited experience so far with tbe 17- inch wheelz and tires has b een similar.

an acquaintance of mine wrecked and broke his arm on his own 650 triumph at bonneville last summer, at 125. wasnt the bike, it was the poor salt surface rutted up from the cars. dumped him even with the damper. at maine i have a well maintained paved B-52 runway. not as long but consistent surface

set the function, not the mechanism.
