I was not aware of the meaning of the word, abba.

I wondered about a reference including the "First Man", "father of all" - Adam - supposedly made in the image of his creator.

Old age.

I was supposed to go out today to look for more photographic Ss. But a ten minute walk yesterday left me footsore with aching legs and feeling uncomfortable, a tad short of breath by the time I climbed the stairs to my flat. Not normally that bad.

And there were no swans on the canal.

That, plus a mere promise of the possibility of rain, seems enough to put me right off the idea. Not exactly depression, can still mostly enjoy reading and listening to the radio, following up on interesting discoveries, preparing a meal, interacting here etc but, somehow, non-essentials are getting more non-essential as time goes on. Finding that "I just can't be bothered".

Anybody heard from Steve Reason? The last time he posted here he was in a bad way, losing his house etc. I hope he made out alright.

Sounds like the rational thing to do, but I believe such a measure would backfire as if I couldn't post on HAF I wouldn't think of anything else all day! I don't want HAF to become a forbidden fruit I can't taste...
