It is NOT  "English weather". Most of our weather systems come from the West. Which countries are West of England? Bluddy Ireland and America!

It's second hand Irish-American weather!!!

And what isn't the above is Icelandic (cold and wet), Scandinavian (bloody cold and often snowy or frosty), Continental (dry and hot or cold) or Spanish (warm and humid) weather. Britain is just the place it all dumps on in passing!
