Greeting. A happy agnostic here!

Hi and welcome,

I think society should give up on using faith as a character defining trait as so many do. There isn't anything positive or negative its a neutral feeling that can be applied to almost anything.

What makes me a happy atheist? I wouldn't classify my happiness being associated with atheism as I don't get any delight from a lack of belief in a god its just part of what i think, it doesn't give me a feeling of liberation either as I have never been oppressed by religion. I'm happy in general due to having a positive outlook on life and the interactions I enjoy day to day but I'm not always happy (I don't think anyone could be). So really I'm generally happy and happen to be an atheist.
