That's not too bad. I'm thinking of taking the train instead of a connecting flight because that was a disaster last time.

Book ahead as tickets on the day are ridiculously expensive.

I plan on it. I'm waiting for flight dates to become available before I book anything else.

Anyone ever ridden the train through the Chunnel to Paris?  We plan to, not sure what to expect.

No, only by plane and ferry. Also, a few times by hovercraft, a long time ago.

I'm usually in the dark, anyway, so I should feel right at home.  Although most of my "tunnel" experiences don't last 20 minutes.

Neal's Yard in Covent Garden looks like a happy and colorful place to visit.  It's on my list.

So, did London Bridge actually fall down and did they build it back up again with silver and gold?  ;D

They rebuilt it out of stone and then the Americans bought it.

That's sort of an urban legend.

It's said they thought they were buying this, Tower Bridge:-

They actually bought this:-

And they put it here, in Arizona, a retirement home for old bridges where it is said to be enjoying the nice warm sunshine.

We take other people's stuff and make it better, like St. Paddy's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Pizza, and London Bridge - look at that cool red stripe and the tents!
