You mean, "m4 3arz ar3 bu4ning."

This just made me realize how pleased I am to be normal.

 I'd love to know by what measure you consider yourself 'normal'! And we wouldn't want you any other way.

Thanks, Tank.  :boaterhat:

But I guess I am a teeny bit delusional.

Normal is as normal does, Tank. Everyone is normal in their own unique way.

Speak for yourself. I've embraced the weird.

But it found you first!

Now we have to get used to writing 2020 instead of 2019.  ::)

It's worse than that.
When it was 2019 enter 25/12 and IT knows what you mean.
Now it is 2020 you have to enter 25/12/19, I hate January.
Take my advice, don't listen to me.

I just can't get my head around dates during the holidays. Here I was thinking it was Wednesday... ::)

OK, I don't watch a lot of TV. OK, let me clarify. When I got married, I didn't even have a TV. TV is pretty much bread and circuses (thank you very much, Robert A. Heinlein!). So, my wife is watching this show tonight, called, "Game of Games". Do any of you watch this kind of tripe!? Bloody hell that stuff is stupid. I guess holding my nose to the grind stone for 45 years has left me unable to appreciate what passes for entertainment  on TV these days. Am I alone in the wilderness with this? Hello, <tap-tap> is the mike on?

billy rubin

no you are not alone

i havent had a television set for the lazt 27years, and not willingly for quite a while before that.

every few years i turnone onin a hotel and am horrified at how muchworse its gotton. two measures i use:

in a typical evening drama, how long do you need to wait before you see someone violently murdered on screen? used tobe an exception now itswhere stuff starts. we have bee. conditioned to accept violence as normative.

in a sixty-second commercial, how many visual cuts are made inthe screenplay? used th be six or eight. now its fifty or more. i cant even follow a modern car commercial-- myprocessor doeznt work that fast. i suspect nobody elses does either.
