I just had an idea for another way civilian space travel could make money.  Send a gizmo to the moon or to Mars, and among all the other things it's doing, it could record the sights and sounds (Mars has enough of an atmosphere to have sounds) and send them back to Earth for assembly into a movie that could play on a screen that surrounds the audience, with the sounds being played from every direction.  Add some accoustic instrumentals, and people might pay to sit there for ten minutes and meditate.  Or, in the case of Mars, skip the instrumentals if the natural noise is evocative enough.  I would have the people sit on cushions on a floor covered in sand with lots of rocks strewn about, to set the mood.

Is it possible you'd make more money selling substances which that would make this fun?  ;)

I'd like being some where (on a moon perhaps) you get to view huge bodies cross the sky.

Not sure I'd be sufficiently entertained by this (give me water sounds, bird song and trees any day).

But you could add smells to the experience:
