the philosophical book "sophies world" is, simply, inspiring, i suggest any1 that can read it TO read it, it gives alot of insight into what philosophy really is, guiding you through all the great questions and great philosophers, including Socrates, Aristotle, and Plato ect ect...
so if you have trouble getting ur head around the idea of philosophy then id suggest it

I read it several years ago, and one of the philosophy classes at college had it as required reading. I remember enjoying it immensely. I think it's time to pick it up again.
