My sincere apologies for the late appearance of this poll. I regret that the field isn't as wide as some of our earlier challenges, given what I consider to be an excellent theme, but nevertheless as usual we have a really fine selection to choose from. Thank you to all who contributed images for this edition.

Please PM me ASAP if I've missed any entries, or otherwise made a mistake in setting this poll.

Members may vote for up to five entries and can change their votes. Voting will close in two weeks.  :)

It's a good range of images. And don't worry about taking your time getting it done I think I have taken longer in the past :D

Thanks, Recusant, I know you've been very busy and appreciate your efforts.

#3
Those of you who enjoy voting are in luck! I'm sorry to have to say that I missed a couple of entries for the challenge. They are now posted above and the poll has been reset (five votes per member now), so the people who voted before get to vote again.  :)

Congratulations to Papasito Bruno, whose photo #3 won by a solid 2 vote margin over the runner-up #7 from hermes2015! Well done, and to Papasito Bruno goes the duty of deciding the theme of the next challenge, as well as running that challenge, should he choose to do so (I'm willing to do the work as usual, if not).

Thank you to all who submitted entries and also to all who voted in this challenge.  :)

Well done Papasito Bruno! I love that perspective.

Recusant, #12 was also taken by me. I think it was actually my best entry, better than #7, that got more votes.

Congratulations, P.B.  :clapping:
I voted for that one too.

I also noticed that 3 out of the 5 photographs I voted for belong to Lark.

Yeah, well done, Paps!

Now you can lounge in glory, sofa as the next challenge anyway.

Well done PB! I'd guessed that was Hermese.

Thanks for the compliment, Tank. I am flattered that you thought I had taken that excellent photo.

Background info on my photos:

2. A private observatory on a lake near Johannesburg.

3. One of my sculptures of a dancer and a much smaller Nataraj, using focus stacking to create the juxtaposition.

12. Roof of a farmhouse in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.

My feeling is that #12 is the best one of the three.
