I don't read anything like as much as I used to. It takes a good book (IMO) to get me stuck in. Under the skin by Michel Faber got me well and truly gripped to the point of reading while on the loo. I really can't say a single thing about the plot without spoilers so I have put those below. There is a film of the book of the same name which is quite good in it's own right. I watched the film and then read the book and the film has, of necessity and budget, hacked out all but the most basic plot. So if you have seen the film you can read the book and enjoy both.
