Can anyone explain to me the ending of 2001: A Space Odyssey:wtf: Does anyone want to have a go at peeling the conceptual layers of the movie Inception? :scratch: Or maybe give a more down to earth explanation of what went on in Interstellar? :query:

Nope I got nothing.

Me either.  I always assumed the astronaut fell thru a hole in space in 2001.  The other two I gave up on and just read while they were playing.

Speaking of confusing movies -- anybody got a take on what was going on in Prometheus?  I got that it was an Alien prequel but the entire back story was just a mish mosh of nitwitery to me.
