if there were no need for 'engineers from the quantum plenum' then we should not have any unanswered scientific questions.

Hello! I'm new here, and I'm really excited to discuss topics with people of a similar mindset.
I'm an agnostic atheist. I generally view what science dictates to be the truth, although I also consider the existence of a god.  I believe there (most likely) is a god, although the term 'god' in my book is very loosely defined. God can range from a sentient, all-knowing spirit of the universe to the Christian God, to Allah, to a force that merely 'holds everything together' and keeps existence going. I have no idea exactly what's out there, and I think everything is possible - including the possibility of there not being a 'god' at all. I used to be entirely atheistic, but then I realized that it was a limiting mindset, and that I should try to experience as much as I can before committing myself to such an absolute belief.

I must say, though, I think an unknown supernatural force is much more likely than a sentient God.

I'm so happy I found this forum. <3 I've been looking for an atheism forum for years. I am now a Happy (agnostic) Atheist! x3

Hello I am relatively new myself but can't help you with the mindset you speak of....

Yet from some of the things you have said I wonder if you have explored postmodernism.

It may aline more with the mindset you are thinking in.
Theism is neither true or false. It is simply that a person lacks a belief in naturalism.  Unbeatable Tautology!!! amiright?

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the intro.

By the way, what does this mean? <3

Never been able to figure that one out. I keep getting stuck on the image of it being a party hat with breasts. Really. That image keeps me from figuring out what it is, unless of course, it IS a party hat with breasts!
