Monday my wife and I leave for two weeks in Russia.  After work Monday we will drive to Houston, and the next day our flight leaves for Munich. Then we connect to a flight to St. Petersburg.  We board a Viking River ship, which will be our home for the next 12 nights.  We will be in St. Petersburg 4 nights, then 5 smaller towns along the rivers, lakes and canals, then 3 nights in Moscow.  Excursions are planned to the Hermitage and other points of interest.

You must see the Matisse Dance painting at the Hermitage.

Sounds wonderful, if a little scary.  Looking forward to reading about it when you get back.

I assume it will be on the tour.  We have a special guide taking us to see everything noteworthy.  I hope I see it.

Should I be concerned about the kind of meat used in my Russian perogies?
