I found answers to all my religious questions. I used to teach others the answers to those questions. One day I realized I was deceiving myself and others. Logic rules over nonsense. Evidence rules over faith. Faith is a detriment not a virtue. Losing my religion was extremely difficult. My mother still cries about it. Life was easier when I believed.

Others will never understand what people like myself and other ex-Christians have been through unless they experience it themselves. Open your mind to the possibility that religion just might be false, you might realize the delusion. It is like seeing the world through a new set of glasses. Everything becomes so clear. Gods are all man made.

Zarathustra, Mohammed, Nanak, Siddhartha Gautama, Jesus, Sathya Sai Baba, Joseph Smith, Guru Maharishi Mahest Yogi, L. Ron Hubbard, and many other historic figures all supposedly lived lives full of miracles, gathered atleast millions and even billions of followers some to this day, and taught men the divine secrets to attain salvation.

And every one of their followers will tell you the same thing.

Their prophet, their guru, their holyman-superstar is the real deal, and all the rest were either misguided, a fraud, or didn't really exist.

Can you really blame me for being an atheist?

If you're looking for relatively simple and not "in your face" atheist commentary, Al's your man.  Not too many videos but he's got a pretty laid back presentation that comes off a lot less confrontational than some of the other atheist video commentary.
