We all have those songs were used to listen to but have since been stacked in the more obscure parts of our memories -- not forgotten, just buried under multiple layers of our mental archaeological strata, just below our consciousness. Every now and then, something happens that causes the memory to resurface and morph into an earworm, and you're left thinking, 'whoa, I really dug that one up there! How many years has it been since I've listened to that song?'. :notsure:

This was a favourite when I was a teenager, back in 2002.

Don McLean performs American Pie live at BBC.
I carried a torch for Roger Waters in those days.
My pick pre-dates me by a couple of decades;
Grace Slick had such a wonderful voice.
Indeed. She was also very technically proficient.
I found my old ass binder full of CDs from my teen years, so I've been reliving all my old musical choices in their questionable and nostalgic glory. This particular song seems apropos, though...
I have to ask. What's an 'ass binder'?

I Need You by America was perhaps my favorite song back in my late teens. Particularly when I was 17, IIRC. I don't know it's been over a decade now!
My mother was friendly with a Portuguese family, who always had this kind of music playing in their house when we visited.
^ Cha-cha music is way cool
