I ran across a picture of this exhibit today which I hadn't seen before. Originally it was displayed back in 2016 at an art show in Philadelphia that coincided with the Democratic National Convention.

The hanging sculpture, titled "Identity Crisis" belongs to Brooklyn artist Michael Murphy, who writes that it, "is about the United States rooting its image in violence and intimidation.

This is the front of the exhibit.

As you shift your perspective from the front to the side of the exhibit the whole thing ceases to be America.

Until you get to the side and it instead becomes one giant handgun.

A Video of it can be watched here at the artist's website.
